Anyone here share the same mentality with traveling?

I consider myself a "true" traveler. There isn't a city or country in the entire world I won't go to. There isn't a mountain I won't climb, a sea I won't travel, a desert I won't bare, etc. I hate hotels and resorts. They are so boring. I'd sooner be trying to cross the ancient Taklamakan Desert or in Antarctica watching the Aurora Australis or in the Afar Depression trying to bare the hottest, on average, desert or maybe in Uzbekistan looking at the famous mosques in Samarkand. I will go anywhere in the world no matter how dangerous it may be; Somalia, Sudan, Afghanistan, Iraq, etc. As far as I am concerned if I die doing what I love, so be it. Anyone else share the same type of mentality with traveling?
