How many teams should a girl,13, tryout for??

how many teams should my 13 yr old daughter tryout for this april. Hockey trouts are coming and we need some advice. this is her 1st year trying out.

she wants to tryout for leaside girls, north york storm, etobicoke dolphins, aurora panther, markham stars, and maybe missisauga chieks, brampton canaddetes.

Any advice? Tips? any past experince? RegretS?

Should the girls talk to each other?

is there mostly a mean setting or a kind setting in the changeroom/between parents?

Should the parents talk to the coahces. other parents?

in my opinion you are getting to worked up about this. i seriously doubt your daughter will be able to tryout for more than two teams because tryouts are just to tiring. i play rep hockey outside the gthl and can only tryout for my town's team, and i am exhausted after just those tryouts( im in pretty good shape). as for the whole social thing you should definatly talk with the parents and your daughter should also talk to the other girls, hockey is all about having fun and making new freinds. tryouts should be no different.. talking to the coach during tryouts might be perceived as trying to "suck up" so thats up in the air, i wouldnt bother them anyways because tryouts are stressful for coaches too.

maybe three teams
i only ever tried out for a max of 4 teams and my schools team because if you make it on to more than one team you have to choose and that is really hard

trust me
i need the advice to im trying to get on the best girls team in the state. i would tryout with the top three choices.
