I want to know the name of a show about people in prison?

There was a show that aired a few weeks ago that a guy at my dads work told him about. The show was about the kids that are in jail for my uncles murder that happened omost twenty years ago. He didn't give my dad the details but we do know that the show talked about where my uncle was murdered at. I thought it was on MSNBC but I can't find it on there. Anyone know the name of the show or the network??? I want to find out so I can find out when its going to be on again. His name was Ronald David Roberts and it happened in Aurora, IL christmas eve 1988.

It does sound like the MSNBC series called "Lock-up". There are different state prisons featured each show, and there was one called Lock-up: Inside Stateville

That prison is in Illinois, near Chicago. Is that where the murderers are incarcerated?
