What do you think? My dress isn't white though, i don't look good in white, so it will be ivory! :)

Im also going to wear ruby red slippers (like from the wizard of oz, since it's my favorite movie)

WOW!!! That gown is BEAUTIFUL!! I LOVE the beading and crystals. I love the idea of the ruby slippers! You are putting YOUR own spin on your wedding, as you should.

FYI: If you are ever in Washington D.C., the real ruby slippers are on display at the Smithsonian Institution. (Under glass, of course!)

I think it looks real nice, and I like ivory much better than white (my dress will be an brownish-orange!)

As for the ruby slippers...awesome. It gives your ensemble a very unique and personal touch.

There are wedding dresses out there that have some color (like a sash around the waist or something), you could make it blue like dorothy's dress. But that's just a suggestion. What you have is fine too :)

My dress was similar (except with spaghetti straps). Good idea to get a bolero, it was unexpectedly freezing on my day and I was happy to have a wrap. I think the shoes will be beautiful. I had some very pretty gold and silver shoes that I adored. The problem was that we didn't do the garter thing so no one saw them except for the few people I pulled my dress up to purposely show. Believe me, shoes don't distract from a dress like this.
