Where to get a DVD projector?

Hey everyone,

My neighbor has given me permission to play a movie on the wall of his house. His house has a HUGE wall with no windows. It is made of white vinyl. My first question is, If I get a DVD projector, will it play on his house, with a fairly clear image. Second, I need to know where to get a DVD projector. I live in Aurora Illinois and I would like to just get a projecot that can just be plugged into an outlet, insert a DVD and play. I will rent or buy, but I want cheap.LOL yup....simple. Id appreciate any help!

I'm not sure about a "cheap" projector unless you go to eBay or something. But it should play perfectly fine on his wall. But if you do decide to get a nice projector you could always go to best buy or circuit city.

You can also use the zoom box but the quality will not be very good due to the low resolution.

Keep in mind as well that without a receiver outisde the volume level will not be very good either. If you're serious about doing this more than once then you can put together a pretty decent outdoor theater from scratch for $1000 or so.

I saw one at the Navy Extange where i live so if anyone in your family is in the military and theres one close, id go to the Navy Extange. But if not, iv seen them at a couple Best Buys before so mabie there
