Laptop turns off?

My alienware aurora m9700 laptop freezes and turns off when i play world of warcraft or try to burn a dvd using nero.

i have

AMD Turion(tm) 64 Mobile Technology ML-44

2gb of ram

NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GS

i dont know my other specs

i have already asked this question but i have a bit more info mation to add.

My laptop had one of the hardrives wiped, and just after this the problem started, there was no problem before this happened. Maybe a software problem, any ideas?

I would check to see if your fan is actually turning. Usually overheating is the reason a computer just shuts off.
