I need a good sturdy road bike that is not afraid of curbs and pot holes. I am a big guy so I need the support. Any thoughts on the quality of these bikes? I will not actually be touring on the bike just commuting to work and short recreational road rides.

Go to your local bike shop, they'll help you find the right bike. Road bikes aren't designed to handle pot holes or curbs.

Out of the 4, I'd go with Fuji. It's a great brand. Althought Jamis is not bad, but Fuji is better. But it you're doing curbs and pot holes. I suggest a mountain bike. Try Jamis Komodo 1 or 2. Awesome bikes and best for the price.
trek bikes are the best now you will have to dig deep into your wallet to get one you can't touch one for less than $800-$1000 but next to it gmc road bikes are the best they run about $400
None of these will hold up to that kind of riding. I suggest you look into a mountain bike with 26" tires.
