Hey, if you like it.....keep it. I am sure that you had a lot of options before coming up with this one.I think it is a very nice name. I saw a response about kids may tease her when the time comes......teach her to love and be proud of her name (if you decide to go with this one). Kids always find something to tease about.
I'm sorry, but I immediately think of Sleeping Beauty. What is your mothers first name? Would that be an option?

When Sleeping Beauty goes into hiding in the forest they change her name from Aurora to "Briar Rose".

I like the name Aurora, but there are just too many connotations to Disney or the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights). "Light up my night aurora" It can go downhill quick.
i like rose as a middle name. i know a lot of people with that middle name. but i dont really like aurora. i think together, there are too many r's. i also like elizabeth rose(kind of old fahsioned though), or Madeline Rose(shortened to Maddie Rose).
