I need help with my science quiz and some of the notes I might have taken could be wrong. Please correct me in this.
Birds fly in troposphere
communicantion satelite exosphere
aurora borealis ionsphere
meteorites burn up mesosphere
planes fly stratosphere
weather troposphere
clouds form troposphere
clouds form troposhpere
And where does oxygen come from? And could u please give it me in a 6th grade answer. Thank you.
Why is carbon dioxide important?
Thanks for all your help ^^
Science layers of the atmosphere? 6th grade?systemworks
the list u have mentioned is right.
the order of the layers of atmosphere is(earth to space)
1.troposphere
2.stratosphere
3.mesosphere
4.thermosphere
5.ionosphere
6.exosphere
oxygen:
The Earth's atmosphere is a layer of gases surrounding the planet Earth and retained by the Earth's gravity. It contains roughly (by molar content/volume) 78.08% nitrogen, 20.95% oxygen, 0.93% argon, 0.038% carbon dioxide, trace amounts of other gases, and a variable amount (average around 1%) of water vapor. This mixture of gases is commonly known as air.
importance of carbondioxide:
-Carbon dioxide is used by the food industry, the oil industry, and the chemical industry.[8] It is used in many consumer products that require pressurized gas because it is inexpensive and nonflammable, and because it undergoes a phase transition from gas to liquid at room temperature at an attainable pressure.
-Carbon dioxide is used to produce carbonated soft drinks and soda water
-Carbon dioxide is the most commonly used compressed gas for pneumatic systems in portable pressure tools and combat robots.
-Carbon dioxide extinguishes flames, and some fire extinguishers, especially those designed for electrical fires, contain liquid carbon dioxide under pressure. Carbon dioxide also finds use as an atmosphere for welding, although in the welding arc, it reacts to oxidize most metals. Use in the automotive industry.etc etc.........
